Ms. Miho Taguma (Senior Analyst, Early Childhood and Schools Division, Directorate for Education and Skills, OECD) gave a talk on the result of the second wave of Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) on 2 July 2014. Ms. Taguma explained the characteristics of the result of Japan in TALIS: long working hours of schoolteachers, development of teaching skills and low sense of self-efficacy etc., then the participants had a group discussion on these topics.
